
Brief History of the College
The Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology is a public tertiary Institution established by Ekiti State Government. It evolved from the erstwhile School of Health Technology, Ijero-Ekiti. The defunct School was established in 1997 after the creation of Ekiti State on 1st October, 1996. The College is situated on about 20 hectares of land, along Epe Road, Ijero-Ekiti, about 60 minutes to Ado-Ekiti, the State Capital of Ekiti State. The administration of the College was headed at inception by Mr. J.O. Fakorede. The Pioneer Principal was succeeded by late Chief E.O Omotosho from 1999 to December 2009.
